Meet Dr. Naomi
Darien Kids-Favorite Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Naomi Sedani became a pediatric dentist and opened Lil' Dente Pediatric Dentistry of Darien to make a lasting difference in children's lives. As an undergraduate student at Wellesley College, she volunteered on international dental missions and discovered a deep passion for children's oral health. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania's School of Dental Medicine with two honors, community health and research, and completed her residency in children's dental care at NYU Langone Health in Brooklyn.
Before long, she was practicing in Connecticut, which is when her dream of Lil' Dente Pediatric Dentistry was born. Lil' Dente Pediatric Dentistry of Darien is an extension of her joy and belief of creating a place where your kiddo can experience joy, comfort and the "can't wait to come back feeling" at the pediatric dentist office in Darien.
Obsessed with dogs and has one of her own

Meet Dr. Ziyad Effendi
Darien Kids-Favorite Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Ziyad Effendi became a pediatric dentist because he believes every child deserves a dental visit that’s full of smiles, not stress! With a big heart for little patients, Dr. Ziyad found his perfect match in a career that combines his love for healthcare and working with kids.
After earning his dental degree with flying colors, he dove into advanced training in pediatric dentistry, where he learned all the tricks of the trade, from keeping tiny teeth healthy to helping nervous little ones feel right at home. Whether it’s a pediatric dental routine checkup or a special needs dental care, Dr. Ziyad is all about creating happy, healthy smiles that last a lifetime.

Meet Dr. Jonathan Laurent
Darien Kids-Favorite Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Jonathan Laurent wanted to become a pediatric dentist after he had an accident as a kid that broke his two front teeth. When he saw the amazing way that his dentist fixed his teeth, he wanted to pay it forward and help other kids preserve their smiles! He loves working with children and teaching them and their parents habits for a healthy mouth and smile.
Dr. “L” completed his dental school education at Howard University and completed his general and pediatric residencies at BronxCare Health System in the Bronx, NY. He practiced in New York and Connecticut before joining Lil’ Dente Pediatric Dentistry here in Darien, CT. When he is not diligently tending to his patients, he finds joy in playing video games and exploring the world alongside his wife, discovering new destinations and cultures through travel and trying as much food as possible!

Beatrice is a recent college graduate with a bachelor's degree in Health Science from CUNY York College. She is driven by passion to help and make a positive impact on the people around her and the community she’s in. Fun fact: Beatrice is a foodie, she enjoys listening to music and long driving.
Charlie
This good boy has been by Dr. Naomi’s side since she applied to dental school. Fun fact: Charlie is working on his oral health—he doesn’t like brushing his teeth!
